Josiah Jones is a servant-minded leader and experienced economic development professional dedicated to strengthening communities throughout Central Pennsylvania. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership (MVEDP), where he leads initiatives focused on business retention, entrepreneurial development, and regional attraction.
A lifelong Pennsylvanian, Josiah brings more than a decade of community-focused leadership experience, guiding organizations that support economic development, outdoor recreation, community revitalization, and public well-being. His work reflects a consistent commitment to enhancing quality of life and fostering long-term regional prosperity.
Josiah is a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) through Destinations International, one of the industry’s highest professional distinctions. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
Josiah resides in Morrisdale, PA with his wife Dana, his son Silas, and their fluffy puppy named Scarlet. They enjoy the outdoors, attending professional baseball games, and spending time with family. Josiah and his family are very active members of their church and their community.
