ABOUT US

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Wilds and the home of the Keystone Elk Country Alliance (KECA). We are a Pennsylvania based 501(c)(3) non-profit wildlife conservation organization that operates/manages the Elk Country Visitor Center and the surrounding properties in Benezette, Pennsylvania to benefit the future of Elk Country, and the enjoyment of hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

VISITOR CENTER HOURS:

Jan - Mar: Sat & Sun 8am - 4pm
April - May: Thur thru Mon 9am - 5pm
June - Aug: Daily 8am - 8pm
Sept - Oct: Daily 8am - Dusk
Nov - Dec: Thurs thru Mon 8am - 4pm

Arbor day is the celebration of planting trees and continuing the preservation of our forests. Come join the Elk Country Visitor Center as we hand out a free tree to each family and learn about the many trees found in PA. We will also be showing the 1972’s The Lorax in the Discovery room!
