Conservation Education Gifts

Here at the Keystone Elk Country Alliance our number one priority is Conservation Education.

Through education we can ensure the preservation of Pennsylvania’s Elk herd for future generations. We educate thousands of visitors annually, and over the past year we have educated over 41,000 people from all over the world. Some of the them are school children on field trips, and others are girl scout and boy scout groups. We’ve enjoyed teaching residents from senior centers, church groups and community organizations as well.

Through our distance learning program, we use technology to expand our conservation education programs to those who are unable to visit the Elk Country Visitor and Education Center.

We also offer year-round weekend conservation programs, special events, and educator workshops.

As our conservation education programs expand, the cost to provide these programs do as well. Most of our programs are provided free of charge or for a minimal fee.

If you would like to donate to our Conservation Education Department, we would be extremely appreciative! Businesses can also support us through EITC donations. The Keystone Elk Country Alliance is a 501c3 non-profit organization and a qualified EITC program participant.
