ABOUT US

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Wilds and the home of the Keystone Elk Country Alliance (KECA). We are a Pennsylvania based 501(c)(3) non-profit wildlife conservation organization that operates/manages the Elk Country Visitor Center and the surrounding properties in Benezette, Pennsylvania to benefit the future of Elk Country, and the enjoyment of hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
VISITOR CENTER HOURS:
Jan – Mar: Sat & Sun 9am – 5pm
April – May: Thur thru Mon 9am – 5pm
June – Oct: Daily 8am – 8pm
Nov – Dec: Thur thru Mon 9am – 5pm

Escape rooms are all the rage these days and our staff has designed their own! Think you have what it takes to escape. In this free escape room, our elk biologist Molly Werner has gone missing, and we need you to help search her office for clues to her whereabouts. These ornaments will be packaged and ready for decorating the perfect gift for the outdoor enthusiast on your list. The ornaments being prepared are a birdseed cookie cutter, a wood cookie stencil, a cone reindeer, or a twig and ribbon tree.
